Covid-19 (Corona Virus) News and Meeting Update

As the country tries to cope with the spread of the Covid-19 virus, information and advice changes daily.
Following guidelines from the government on the 16th March 2020 with regards to reducing social contact to a minimum, AA groups may choose (through their group conscience) to cancel meetings. These meetings are listed below:

Open meetings for Health Professionals

Many meetings are open to anyone interested in the field of alcoholism, it's effects and recovery,
Health Professionals, teachers, counsellors, youth workers, family and friends - all welcome.

8th West Dorset Convention 2020

Due to current concerns about the spread of Coronavirus, the convention due to take place on 28th March has been postponed.

More information will be posted when a new date is agreed.Tickets will remain valid. If you require a refund, please contact convention organisers.

Alcoholics Anonymous UK are seeking members for new Chat now service!

Now that you are sober - Help others to get and stay sober!

There are vacancies for the Online Response Service (ORS) which has been running for a number of years. The main purpose of the ORS Help Desk is to put the still suffering alcoholic in touch with the AA Telephone Service or an AA Group and provide them with information about AA and the 12 Step Programme along with an AA starter pack.
